I met Fouad, Amanda, and Miss Emily right before Emily turned 1 when I did a family session for them. They had not had their pictures done since then so they figured it was time again since Emily will be 3 soon....time FLIES!!!! One of the main thing I remembered about Emily was her gorgeous blue eyes....after you see these pictures you will see why I couldn't forget them!
When Emily first got out of the car she wasn't quite sure of me yet. She was very shy and of course it was 8:30 in the morning so I am sure she wasn't fully awake. I met them at my church where we have a huge pond and lots a pretty green landscaping. I asked Emily if she liked ducks and her eyes lit up. That was the first moment I think I scored some brownie points with her. As I talked to her about Disney Princesses (she just got back from Disney World) she really started to to warm up. By the end of the session she was posing, laughing, and having a good time. When I said goodbye to her at the end of the session I asked for a hug and she ran to her daddy! So I politely asked again, she shuffled her feet VERY slowly towards me and wrapped her arms around my neck...LOVE! I love when sessions turn out like that.
After the session was over I went to church. Before the sermon started I got a message on my phone from Amanda that said "Emily is very upset that we did not ask you to go to breakfast with us." That is one of the reasons I love this
job what I do. I am a people person and when I can get to know them and make them feel comfortable on the other side of the camera and capture that exact moment in time FOREVER, it makes my heart happy.
Thank you Fouad, Amanda, and Emily for trusting me to help you freeze a moment in time :)
